Know IFLOMA
IFLOMA was originally created as an initiative of the Mozambican government to provide wood solutions for the country. In April 2004, the government, through its privatization program of state entities, sold IFLOMA to the South African company Komatiland Forests (Pvt) Ltd. Komatiland Forests now holds 80% of the capital of IFLOMA while the government of Mozambique owns the remaining 20% it manages through IGEPE (State Equity Management Institute). IFLOMA has 3 plantations which are spread over an area of about 19000 hectares and a localized sawmill in Messica in Manica Province. The company has a labourforce of more than +-500 employees.
